Weekly production log 5

For the final week of making the music video with my group we had pretty much completed every single. We had pretty much do was to only edit the video together with the footage we had been recorded. After every record we always talk where the scene would fit in the music and discussed as to why it would preferably fit in once then another. My team leader which was the editor also had the main task of editing while team members gave advice until we felt we were satirised with what we had done.

Weekly production log 4

For my teams forth week we were wrapping it up on getting the video done. We needed to resolve some problems we were having within our group. We needed to film change our location and instead start filming closer to our school so we could have more time film as our schedule wouldn't allow my team to have much time working together.

We instead deiced to film at my house, as it was closest to everyone. We also decided not to have any lip syncing as the artist just wouldn't match Christiana the actor would not fit as if they had the same voice we did go with that idea and scraped it.

Weekly production log 3

On the third week my team and I making the music video. We did multiple task before having actually starting to film. My team and I had first decided to go about the possible locations we could use in order to use in our video. We thought if the location would be an appreciate place to record in for our music video and is it too far where we could meet up with each to record the music video. We also did the risk assessment of all the possible danger we may face when trying to make our music. We had come to a conclusion that making our are very low risk of any one being in danger.

Music video Props

In my teams music video we will need to use some props in order to film the way we want it to. For one my team and I will need a camera in order to record we will be using our school's equipment. We will also be using a tripod to keep the camera steady when recording our music so it looks professional and we don't have a shaky camera.  We may use two Barclay bikes in a scene when filming which will cost just £2 that I believe my team and I can afford. My team may use an oyster as a prop so that the audience can see that the characters travel by bus or even train but it's still up as just a possible idea. We may also use money as prop to just a character paying for something rather than the other to show that they can afford thing and to show they are generous. Flowers will be used in order to show that two characters are in romantic relationship together.

Focus group

My group and I needed to record the feedback that we got when we asked question to make out video and on what the people had said.  My team and I didn't find enough suitable people for our video to fit the diverse theme we were looking for. we found an equal amount male and female to be in our focus groups but all the people that were in the focus group were all black. We should have had a variety of different races and gender. Most of them had the same taste in music and none of them seems to have romance as a main music genre that the liked the most. What we should have done was have multiple races such as Caucasian and Asian.
